Class Technology and Tools: My Thoughts

Let's face it. This type of online, technology-based learning is the future of our education. Before taking Mythology and Folklore, I was not familiar with the world of blogging. Now, I feel like I could start a blog for anything I could possibly want to! Something I love about this class format is that although there is no face-to-face interaction, I become familiar with everyone in the class through the commenting assignments. When doing my portfolio project last year, I found that Google Sites has numerous tools for customizing and formatting the layout. This semester, I want to embed some unique extensions on my project. From experience, an embedded video can make a huge difference in the presentation and delivery of the story to the audience. Perhaps, I could even play around with embedding an interactive tool for the readers as they delve into the plot of the storybook or portfolio.
